Executable Examples

System Requirements

A number of executable demo examples are presented below, some in English and Swedish and some in Swedish only. The math exmples require Microsoft Silverlight 4 or higher. The example from Gleerups require Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher, the other Flash examples require version 10 or higher. If you don't have the required version it will be installed when you try to run the demos. You can also click the buttons

  and

for installation of the latest Flash and Silverlight versions.

The Java examples require JRE 6 or higher. Java for Windows and Linux can be downloaded from Sun. In the case of Windows and Linux Java3D is automatically downloaded the first time you run one of the 3D demos. For Mac Java and Java3D can be downloaded from Apple (go to www.apple.com/downloads/ and search for "Java" and "Java3D" to find appropriate versions).

If Flash, Silverlight or Java is not installed and you don't want to download any plug-ins you can view selected still images (screen shots) on the page Gallery to get an impression of the possibilities of our software.

Product Demos

Examples of products developed together with customer

Two physics applications from Gleerups Utbildning AB (in Swedish)

Go to Gleerups e-learning site. Then go to Gymn / Vux → NeXus A → Demo → Kapitel 3 Rörelse → Simuleringar. There are two executable examples and one executable instruction. The course includes totally 9 Flash-based simulations but the other require licence. All Gleerups applications contain audio clips.

Economics example from National Center for Flexibel Learning, CFL

Result Diagram and Zero Point (in Swedish), a demo application in 2D for teaching business economy developed together with CFL. Originally written in Curl but now ported to Flash.

Lifting Human, ergonomics example from CFL

EU flag Multilingual ergonomy application in 3D for the EU project "Home Care", also developed together with CFL. It demonstrates the size of the burden on the back when lifting different weights from a height of 70 cm in different body positions. These are set using a sliding scale which makes it easy to experiment with various values. 70 cm is the height of a typical Swedish hospital bed. The program issues a warning when a lift is dangerous. The load calculations are calibrated according to the Swedish Health and Safety Administration's Load Factor. Windows/Linux version, Mac version. Java-based.

Trigonometri, math exempel (2D)

This demo program, Trigonometry, was developed to evaluate Silverlight. Contains audio clips.

Technology Demos

Miscellaneous examples of what can be made with software from Eduvance (they should not be seen as products since they do not contain any tasks, questions, answers, links, or supplementary material).
